Miley Road - Stormwater Improvements
Project Overview
The City of Wilsonville is starting the Miley Road Stormwater Replacement Project. The goal of the project is to replace the aging storm water pipes that are currently on the north side of Miley Road. The current pipes are poor condition and in risk of collapse, which may create localized flooding. Additionally, the outfall into a nearby stream was not constructed properly and need significant repairs. Further east on Miley Road, portions of the existing pipes run under the brick wall and fencing along the road and if left as-is, could cause property damage and make emergency repairs necessary.
Construction Phasing
This project will be completed in two stages:
- Phase 1 focuses on replacing the outfall to the creek, and a portion of main pipe to Miley Road and Airport Road. The new pipe will also be upsized where necessary to handle more water.
- Phase 2 will continue the pipe replacement work from the intersection of Miley Road and Airport Road to the east to SW Armitage Road, replacing about 4,100 feet of existing storm piping.
