Arrowhead Creek Park
Arrowhead Creek Park, formerly known as the Willamette River Water Treatment Plant Park, was built in conjunction with the city’s water treatment plant on the Willamette River. This award-winning park was created through a community design process and includes opportunities for education and interpretation. The site includes interpretive features about the city’s water system and a water feature (not intended for water play) that is the park’s focal element. The meadow in the park is composed of native grasses that have lower water use and require minimal mowing. The Morey’s Landing trail is a significant feature of the park and provides connections to the adjacent neighborhood.
The Willamette Water Supply System Raw Water Facilities Project began in June 2020.To learn more, please visit the project webpage.
