Celebrate the freedom to read!

Banned Books Week is the first week of October, but we extend it for an entire month. We will have displays and activities highlighting this form of censorship.

Learn about books that have been removed or challenged in schools and libraries in the United States every year. Some you might agree with, and others will surprise you.
