Gaming at the Library

Games at the Library

SUMMER 2025
Tabletop Nights for adults: Choose from our wide selection of classic and modern board games, or bring your own. First Thursday of the month from 6-7:30pm.

Family Tabletop Board Game Nights: Play some great games from our expansive collection. For elementary age children (K to 5th grade) with an adult in attendance. Tuesdays, July 1, 15, 29, from 6-7:30pm.

Play board games at the library!

You can bring your own games, or check out a board game through the Library of Things. Use a table in the magazine reading area, reserve a Study Room, or (for teens only) play in the Teen Area. We ask that you keep in mind others around you.

Why gaming at the library?
The Wilsonville Public Library's mission is to promote lifelong learning. Games have value by encouraging literacy activities, language skill development, and social interactions. Games provide stories and information as they entertain and educate. Besides, they're just fun!

But I thought libraries were supposed to be quiet!
We offer a variety of spaces for library users who desire quiet areas. There is seating along the east wall of the library in the Non-Fiction section, in addition to the Study Rooms and Meeting Rooms. If you have difficulty finding a quiet space, please speak with a staff member.

How do I recommend games for the collection?
Fill out the "Suggest a Purchase" form and we will see what we can do. Purchases are dependent upon costs and staff approval.

May I donate games to the Library of Things Collection?
Thank you for thinking of the library with your donations. At this time we don't know whether we will be able to accept donations, so please check back in the following months.
