Imagination Library

What is Dolly Parton's Imagination Library? It’s a program for Wilsonville resident children up to five years old to  receive a free book each month in the mail for them to keep forever. Families can register on the Imagination Library website or at the library. The first book every child receives is The Little Engine That Could.

Caring for kids during the pandemic

The City-hosted discussion featured panelists Kristin Akervall (Wilsonville City Council), Courtney Neron (Oregon House District 26), Deborah Gitlitz (Library Bilingual Outreach Coordinator), Jo Caisse (Library Youth Services) and Erica Behler (Parks & Rec. Programs). The program challenges caregivers are facing in the wake of COVID-19, and attempts to get kids engaged in educational pursuits, physical exercise and other activities while managing other responsibilities at home.
